Drunk BASE Jumper Makes Midnight Leap

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX)- Twin Falls rescue crews had to help drunk BASE jumper out of the canyon Wednesday. According to  the Twin Falls Sheriff's office Walter Wooten, 30, of York County South Carolina had to be guided out of the canyon after jumping from the Perinne Bridge around 12:30am. SIRCOMM recieved a call from someone saying Wooten had not made it back out of the canyon for about 45 minutes. Twin Falls County deputies responded and found Wooten to be uninjured and intoxicated. St. Luke's helicopter did land in the canyon but did not transport the man.
