E. Idaho Man Admits to Child Sex Crimes

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (AP) — A 57-year-old eastern Idaho man who pleaded guilty to child sex crimes against two teenage girls has been sentenced to 20 years in prison.

The Post Register reports that Viggo Madsen of Ammon received the sentence Thursday in 7th District Court and must serve at least five years before becoming eligible for parole.

Madsen pleaded guilty to lewd conduct with a minor younger than 16 and sexual exploitation of a minor younger than 16. Madsen was arrested March 3. Authorities say the abuse occurred multiple times over several months.
