Elderly Woman Killed in Mini-Cassia Area Crash

Rupert, Idaho (KLIX) An American Falls woman is dead after a car crash Sunday just east of Rupert. Idaho state police say43 year old Apolinar Rodriguez of American Falls failed to stop at a stop sign in a Pontiac sedan. 21 year old Colten Crowley of Rupert struck Rodriguez’s car on the driver’s side. Crowley was driving a in Chevy Cavalier. 82 year old Glafira Rodriguez of American Falls was killed. There were four other people riding in the Pontiac including two juveniles. They were taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Crowley was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries as well. One lane of traffic was closed for about an hour and a half. The crash is still under investigation.
