Elmore County Man Accused of Killing Girlfreind and Children Makes Court Appearance

16-year-old Noemi Ramirez testified at a preliminary hearing for Jorge Alberto Lopez Orozco, who is charged with three counts of first-degree murder. Authorities say Orozco killed Rebecca Ramirez and her sons, age 2 and 4, nine years ago. The FBI listed Orozco as one of its most-wanted fugitives in 2002 after fishermen found the abandoned, burned-out shell of the car he had been driving near the Snake River. Orozco was captured in October 2009 in Mexico and extradited to Idaho this year. Noemi Ramirez testified she last saw her mother leaving in a white car with Orozco, a man she knew as "Pepe."
