TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX)- A major emergency drill took place at the Twin Falls Airport Wednesday Morning. Emergency responders, hospital staff, and airport staff along with volunteers help stage a disaster drill between two aircraft with passengers.

More than 20 local, county, state and federal agencies took part in the complex drill says Bill Carberry who manages Joslin Field. The St. Luke’s hospitals in Jerome and Twin Falls also participated.

The Federal Aviation Administration says airports must conduct a full scale drill at least once every three years to test and put into place the airports emergency plan.
