Equipment Failure Causes Wendy’s Evacuation

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) The all clear is being given after the Wendy's restaurant in Twin Falls was evacuated this afternoon.

The Twin Falls Police and Fire Departments were called out to investigate a possible fire, after smoke was reported coming from the roof.

Fire officials say a heating unit on the roof of the building broke down and began to smoke. The fast food restaurant is again open for business.
