Bikers from all over the Pacific Northwest converge on the 13th Annual Mahoney’s Motorcycle Escort to Camp Rainbow Gold on Sunday, July 27th!

Join over 500 bikers and supporters from all over the Pacific Northwest as we celebrate Idaho’s children diagnosed with cancer as they make their journey to Camp Rainbow Gold.

Starting from Bellevue City Park at 300 Elm Street, Bellevue, ID, this escort travels the short distance between Bellevue to almost Cathedral Pines, where campers arrive for their week away from the stresses of everyday life with cancer. Bikers and supporters will arrive between 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. to wait for the busses while they enjoy a delightful BBQ lunch and festive live music and dancing. For just $10, Mahoney’s will be providing pulled pork sandwiches, chips and coleslaw to all participants. Thanks to the generosity of Mahoney’s Bar & Grill, 100 percent of all funds raised will benefit Camp Rainbow Gold.

A huge supporter of biker clubs all over Idaho, Ride Organizer Pat Pacheco states: “There is no registration fee for this ride. It’s an open non-club sponsored ride for kids.”

For more information, contact Pat Pacheco at (208) 539-6885 or find the escort on Facebook.

About Camp Rainbow Gold

Camp Rainbow Gold brings community, love and silliness into the tough, trying and painful world of childhood cancer by improving the spiritual, mental and physical health of children and their families. Connecting people with the outdoors in an unmatched setting and providing physical challenges provokes interest and inquiry, ultimately building confidence and enabling the campers to heal emotionally so their lives are not burdened by their illness, but instead empowered by their experience overcoming it. It’s a place where joy and laughter reign and the burden of illness is temporarily lifted…a place where the bond of friendship is stronger than cancer. The programs at Camp Rainbow Gold seek to honor the individuality of each child by offering experiences that are diverse, thrilling and inspiring in the hopes that the children and families find a sense of peace, the opportunity to heal and a bond within their Idaho community.
