Calling all chocoholics!  The Rotary Club of Twin Falls is sponsoring its Eighth Annual Death by Chocolate event!

  • At Canyon Crest Event Center, 330 Canyon Crest Dr., Twin Falls
  • Thursday, January 31st from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
  • Admission is $15.00 per person in advance and $20.00 at the door. Advance tickets will be sold at the TF Chamber of Commerce, Kurt’s Pharmacy, The Mail Room and on-line at www.twinfallsrotary.org.

Local chefs will compete against each other in the following categories: Best Chocolate Brownie, Cake, Cookie, Candy, and Unique Dessert. Attendees will taste and judge these chocolate delights and vote for their favorites!  A panel of judges will also decide their favorites in each category. There will be a silent auction and raffle throughout the evening and live music by the Jason Lugo Band.

DBC Chocolate participants include: Arno Confection Perfection, Bakehouse, Black Cat Cupcakes, Cactus Pete’s Resort Casino, Canyon Crest Event Center, Canyon Ridge High School, Carla’s Creations, Cold Stone Creamery, CSI Baking & Pastry Arts, Daisy’s, From Seed to Store, Hilton- Garden Inn, JJ’s Cakes & Confections, Magic Valley High School, Pieces of Heaven Cupcakery, Simplicity Sweets, Sweet Hope, The Coffee Shop, Twin Falls High School,  Heritage & Woodstone Assisted Living, and Wynwood of Twin Falls. There will be 25,000 pieces of chocolate there.

"When we first started this event, we had no idea how successful it would be. We are thrilled to raise this amount of money for charity just by eating chocolate.’ said David Foster, President of the Rotary Club of Twin Falls.

There will also be a no-host bar. Zulu Bagels will provide free coffee and Costco free water. Western Bus Service will donate parking shuttles for overflow parking.  Look for the signs.
