Additional Information

Students in the College of Southern Idaho’s Production Multimedia class have put their new skills to work making a movie this semester. They’ll premiere ‘Room 119: Their Choices Will Define Them’ at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 9 at the Sligar Auditorium of the Twin Falls Center for the Arts.

Instructor Teresa Sept says the movie is the finishing touch to their final semester and allows them to showcase their scripting, videography, audio, web, graphic design, and animation skills. Eight students have contributed to the 15-minute movie, which is described as a mystery thriller. In addition to working as a team to come up with the concept, the students applied their skills in time management, camera techniques, special effects, script writing, storyboarding, and other movie making processes. Each student will add the movie to his or her portfolio and a copy will be used online to help market CSI’s Digital Media program.

Admission is free and the public is welcome.
