Farm Equipment Stolen and Vandalized in Jerome

JEROME, Id. ( KMVT/KSVT ) The Jerome County Sheriff's Office is investigating after thousands of dollars in farm equipment was damaged over the weekend.

Deputies believe the thieves made off with the equipment sometime Sunday morning. Several pieces of equipment were then found at various locations. Over $20,000 worth of damage was done to the equipment. The sheriff's office is asking farmers and agricultural workers to lock up their equipment when it's not being used.
