CHUBBUCK, Idaho (KTVB/KPVI)– The FBI is now offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrests and convictions of those involved in the vandalism of several church building in eastern Idaho back in November. Federal agents are continuing to investigate the vandalism of three meeting houses for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Chubbuck.  Authorities believe the crimes occurred on the evening of Nov. 6 or early in the morning of Nov. 7. The suspects drew several male genitalia on the exterior walls, sidewalks and doors of the churches and wrote several phrases including, “Brigham Young was a rapist,” “Sheepole,” “Die Mormans,” and “Burn!” The vandals also drew several inverted crosses on the church buildings and around the church grounds. The FBI is calling this vandalism a hate crime and is asking for the public’s help in finding the culprits.
