Filer Man Killed in Boating Accident

(KLIX)-One man was killed late Wednesday in a boating accident at Salmon Falls Reservoir. According to the Twin Falls County Sheriff’s office  two men were injured and one was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities say after a full day of fishing the boat hit a rock wall around 11:30pm. Campers head a crash and went out on the water. They saw flares coming from the two injured boaters.  Willis G. Mullen, 68 was killed, 22 year old Christopher Mullen was flown to the hospital, and Ronald Stutzman, 65, was taken by ground to the hospital. Both men have been released. All men are from Filer. The investigation is ongoing but speed is believed to be a factor.
