TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) The Bureau of Land Management said it is working to contain a fire, which has burned about 12 acres approximately one mile east of Dierkes Lake near Twin Falls.

The BLM said the call came at about 6:25 Thursday evening, and crews were able to have the fire knocked down by 7. The bureau said it hopes to have the fire contained by noon on Friday, and controlled by evening.

Both the BLM and the Rock Creek Fire Department have been on the scene. No structures or casualties have been threatened, and the BLM said it has mostly burned grass and shrub.
