TWIN FALLS, Id. ( KMVT/KSVT ) A Twin Falls family was not able to stay in their home Saturday after a fire spread from the garage to the attic of their two–story home.

The Twin Falls Fire Department responded to a call just after 1 p.m. at the 2400 block of Pole Line Road East. One person was home at the time of the fire and able to escape without harm. No other injuries were reported.

The source of the fire is still unknown, but fire officials say it began in the attached garage.No firefighters were injured, but officials also say the low temperatures caused some of their breathing equipment to malfunction.
