BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Idaho fire officials say a wildfire near Stanley has prompted the evacuation of campers near Red Fish Lake. The 210 Road fire is burning on about 300 acres — that's about half of a square mile — in the Sawtooth National Forest.

Officials with the National Interagency Fire Center in Boise say the fire is threatening some homes in the area and crews are reporting running fire behavior. The campers were evacuated Monday afternoon, and roads in the area are closed.

Structures are also threatened by the Lodgepole wildfire west of Challis in the Salmon-Challis National Forest. That fire is covering about 1½ square miles. The largest fire in the state is the 11-square-mile Brown Butte fire near Shoshone. Officials say the blaze is smoldering and almost completely contained.
