Firefighters Quickly Extinguish Fire on Canyon Rim

TWIN FALLS, Id. ( KMVT / KSVT ) Officials are investigating after a small brush fire sparked along the canyon rim Tuesday evening.

The Twin Falls Fire Department responded to the call at around 7 p.m. just above the Twin Falls Waste-water Treatment Plant. It’s not clear what caused the fire that scorched roughly a quarter of an acre, but It didn't take fire crews long to contain the flames.

A repelling team was also called out to scale the canyon rim, and make sure the entire fire was out. No structures were damaged.
