The Bureau of Land Management says roughly 46 square miles has burned in three separate fires in Elmore County. The Grindstone fire burned more than 21,600 acres of grass 15 miles south of Glenns Ferry, and it was nearly completely contained Monday morning. The Hot Springs 2 Fire burned more than 10,300 acres before it was contained Sunday. The Walker Fire, which burned just 200 acres northwest of Glenns Ferry, was also contained Sunday. All three blazes were caused by lightning.
