SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — Melting mountain snow is filling some rivers in Eastern Washington and the Idaho Panhandle. The National Weather Service in Spokane says the Okanogan River is expected to crest Sunday about two feet over flood stage, which will flood some fields and pastures between Okanogan and Oroville.

Forecasters also say minor flooding is possible on the Stehekin River at Stehekin, the Kettle River above Curlew, the Moyie River at Eastport, the Kootenai River at Bonners Ferry, and the Similkameen River near Nighthawk
