A former Castleford High School teacher faces sentencing in June after accepting a plea agreement after being accused of videotaping high school girls in his hotel room.  34 year old Roger Wells was charged with video voyeurism in December after police say a boyfriend of one of the girls found a video camera in the bathroom of Wells’ hotel room where the girls were showering. They were showering in Wells room because they claimed the facilities at the Moscow school, where a state FFA activity was being held, were not clean enough.  Wells resigned his teaching position at Castleford three days after the event after teaching in the district for 10 years.  In addition to the voyeurism charge, Wells was also charged with destruction of evidence.  Both the voyeurism and destruction of evidence charges are felonies.  Prosecutors dropped the destruction of evidence charge for Wells guilty plea of the voyeurism.  His sentencing date in Latah County is set for June 25th.
