Former TF Cop Graduates Drug Court

A Former Twin Falls Police officer and detective has graduated from the 5^th Judicial District Drug Court.  Curtis Gambrel retired from the Twin Falls Police Department in 2007 after his arrest  for illegally obtaining prescription pain killers, a felony.   He pleaded guilty in November of 2009 and was sentenced to the 63 week-long drug  court.  Gambrel is a former DARE officer.  He was accepted into the drug court program a month after he made a plea to receive treatment instead of probation or prison time.  Gambrell was stripped of his law enforcement badge in February of 2010.
