(KLIX)- Have you ever wanted to go fishing but wasn’t sure you’d like it? This weekend is for you. Across the state of Idaho you can fish for free without having a fishing license. Saturday is Free Fishing Day and Kelton Hatch with Idaho Fish and Game says people can bring the whole family. And people don’t need to worry about buying fishing poles and tackle if they don’t want to, Fish and Game will provide tackle and poles to loan out. At several places around the Magic Valley Fish and Game will have everything you need. One of those places is at the Hagerman State Fish Hatchery. From 9am to 3pm Fish and Game will loan out the equipment and teach people how to fish. Hatch says they expect around 600 people to attend. Even though it’s a license free day, people will still have to follow the rules, such as limits and tackle restrictions.
