With the hostage ordeal in Twin Falls last Friday still fresh on everyone’s mind, the suspect in the incident remains in the Twin Falls County Jail.  26  year old Clark Cleveland so far is charged with felony eluding police and aggravated battery on an officer.  Further charges are pending after a 43 year old Utah man was shot and killed during the incident.  Idaho State Police trooper Nicholas Walker was shot in the leg.  He was released from the hospital over the weekend.  A woman allegedly held hostage by Cleveland was released unharmed at the end of the ordeal.  Meanwhile, the Times News reports that Cleveland, from Spring Creek, Nevada, has had previous brushes with the law.  He’s accused of violating his probation on a June driving under the influence conviction in Twin Falls County.  Five years ago  Cleveland was convicted in Shoshone County of carrying a concealed weapon without a license. In the last two years Cleveland has been arrested twice in Nevada for incidences of alleged domestic violence.
