According to the National Weather Service in Boise, a departing storm system will leave cold air behind it Sunday morning and again Monday morning.

Frost is expected in the agricultural areas of the upper treasure valley and western Magic valley. A freeze is not expected, however the Frost Advisory remains in effect from 6 am to 9 am Sunday.

  • Frost is expected Sunday and Monday mornings.
  • Temperature: 32 to 36 degrees.
  • Impacts: Frost Crystals may damage tender vegetation.

Precautionary & Preparedness Actions

A Frost Advisory means that frost is possible. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.
