Near freezing temperatures are expected in the Magic Valley late tonight (May 22) into early Thursday morning (May 23).

Unseasonably cool temperatures will continue tonight. As winds decrease and skies become mostly clear conditions will be ideal for radiational cooling. Low temperatures tonight will range from near freezing into the mid 30s. This may result in the formation of frost and may cause damage to vegetation.

The National Weather Service in Boise has issued a Frost Advisory which is in effect from midnight tonight to 10 am Thursday.

  • Temperature: Low temperatures will range from near freezing to the mid 30s.
  • Impacts: Vegetation may be damaged by the cold temperatures and by any frost that forms.
