A Frost Advisory has been issued for Lincoln, Minidoka, northern Cassia and southern Blaine Counties from 3am to 9 am Thursday morning (Sept 19).

KMVT Meteorologist Nick Kosir says, "Temperatures are expected to drop between 36 to 32 degrees during that time frame. The coldest temperatures of the day are always right before sunrise which will take place at 7:22 a.m."

Places along the Snake River, such as Burley, should stay above those temperatures but will still be cold.

A frost advisory means that frost is possible and sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.
