Gas Leak Leads To Evaucation Of Homes In Shoshone

A gas leak in Shoshone yesterday afternoon caused the evacuation of several homes in the area. Police say the leak started just before 4:00 pm after a resident was putting up a fense in his yard and accidentally hit the line. As a precaution police evacuated homes and closed off the intersection of North Greenwood and West Third streets. About an hour later intermountain gas arrived and shut off the gas. No one was hurt in the incident.
