The average price of a gallon of unleaded gasoline in Idaho is $3.03, below the national average of $3.13.  However, experts warn that you these lower prices won't last too long. Analysts say with the current price of oil, come as early as March first we could start to see gas prices increase dramatically. Dave Carlson with Triple “A” Idaho says that one of the biggest reasons for the increase is the increased global demand.  Carlson says the markets in China, India and Asia are growing at a tremendous pace -- putting more vehicles on the road than ever before. The record high gas price in the state of Idaho is $4.16 a gallon back in 2008.
