Rogerson was platted as a town site in 1911 by Robert Rogerson, a local Twin Falls hotel owner and entrepreneur after the Oregon Short Line Railroad built a track south of the land he owned. The discovery of gold in northern Nevada and Salmon Damn construction helped this small town to flourish.

Dave Wright reports on the Rogerson centennial.
