Gooding, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - The Gooding Police Department arrested a man that had been listed as one of Idaho’s Most Wanted with the Idaho Department of Corrections and the Boise Crime Stoppers.

Gooding Police Chief Chris Ward said that Solomon Vega Jr. 37, was arrested on Sunday. Vega had an outstanding warrant that had been issued by the Idaho Department of Corrections. He was wanted for a Probation Violation with a history of Injury to a Child, Burglary and Petit Theft. Based on a tip from an anonymous source, a Gooding Police Department Investigator and Patrol Sergeant followed up and located Vega.

It is believed that Vega has been living in the Gooding area for quite some time. Officers from the Gooding Police Department and the Gooding County Sheriff’s Office located Vega on a traffic stop on Sunday night and placed him into custody without incident.

Vega was booked into the Gooding County Jail on the outstanding Felony warrant out of Ada County with no bond. Police remind residents that anyone with information on the whereabouts of wanted subjects may call the Gooding Police Department tip line at 208-934-8436 ext 22.
