Gooding Man Sentenced for Slashing Another’s Throat

Gooding, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - A sentencing in Gooding for a man accused of slashing another man's throat and leaving him for dead was held this Tuesday afternoon. Ryan Cunningham pled guilty to a felony count of aggravated battery on February 13th. He was sentenced to fifteen years in prison and will serve a minimum of four years. He will be credited for time served. In addition to court costs, Cunningham will also pay a fine of five thousand dollars. His co-defendant Thomas Hooley is set to go to trial on May 7th.
