Jerome police are investigating a story that happened last Wednesday night (December 11, 2013) which ended with a person being shot in the head.

KMVT-TV reports:

According to Zoe Monahan with the City of Jerome, around 10:30 pm, police responded to a report that Daniel Young of Gooding had been dropped off at the local hospital with a gunshot wound to his head. The individual that dropped the victim off quickly left the area.

Police pursued the vehicle which dropped off Young and soon arrested the suspect at the Kwik Service on West Main under unrelated charges but remains a person of interest.

Young is currently being treated in Boise at St. Alphonsus, where officials say Young is in serious condition.
