Governor signs “Bath Salts” Ban Into Law
It’s official..Governor Butch Otter has signed into a law a measure that bans so called “bath salts” in Idaho. The state adopted a temporary ban last year on the chemicals used to make Spice, which is a synthetic marijuana. Idaho drug czar Debbie Field says once the state adopted the temporary Spice ban, the so-called "bath salts" quickly took its place as the newest synthetic drug of choice. The bill won unanimous support from the Legislature. The new law goes into effect immediately.
