BURLEY, Id. (KMVT / KSVT) A Burley grandmother is still seeking justice a year after her granddaughter’s death and is now asking for the communities help.

In October of 2014, Whitney Murphy was found dead in her home in Malta from a fatal gunshot wound. Now a year later, there is no new information and officials have yet to make an arrest. Murphy's grandmother has set up a reward fund at D.L. Evans Bank.

"Crying out for help, somebody, someone knows something. Or heard something. If they would just report it to the police station. That's all I want, that's all I want to hear and that's all I want to know,” said Marie Benally, Murphy’s grandmother.

Donations can be made at any branch under "Whitney Murphy’s Reward Fund." Police are still investigating the case and ask anyone with information to call the Cassia County Sheriff's Office.
