Mountain Home, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - Mountain Home Police had some tense moments this Tuesday after the report of a grenade that was found at the Westside Trailer Park.

A resident of the trailer park was cleaning out her storage unit at another location and brought personal property home. Once she started to go through her property, she discovered what appeared to be a grenade. She immediately called police. Once authorities arrived they determined that it did resemble an actual grenade.

As a precautionary measure, several trailers and houses around the area have been evacuated. Police contacted the Mountain Home Air Force Base Bomb Squad to assist, remove the item and destroy it. Technicians determined the device was a non explosive hazard. No further action was necessary and residents were allowed to return home.
