Yesterday marked  the two year anniversary of the capture of U.S. Army Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl was  by the Taliban in Afghanistan. A gathering was held for Bowe and his family at Zaney's River Street Coffee House in Hailey at noon. Hailey Mayor Rick Davis read a statement from the Bergdahl family. In the statement the bergdahl's said that they have not forgotten Bowe and have not forgotten the support to bring Bowe back home with honor.  Trees in the small town remain decorated with yellow ribbons to remind everyone that Bowe is still missing, and the community is still "Standing with Bowe" and his family. Bergdahl went missing from a base in southern Afghanistan in June of 2009.  He is currently the only soldier being held captive. Two weeks ago, Bergdahl was promoted to the rank of sergeant.  A promotion certificate was presented to Bowe's parents in Hailey.
