HANSEN, Idaho (KLIX)- The Hansen Bridge will be shut down at some point today to remove a crashed semi-truck. According to Idaho State Police currently  the bride is restricted to one lane of travel. Later crews will have to shut down the bridge to get tow trucks in to remove the wrecked semi. Expect delays or avoid the area completely.

5:23 PM UPDATE: The Hansen Bridge is now open, however, travel is restricted for trucks and high-profile vehicles due to dangerous conditions caused by high winds.

The bridge will remain restricted to truck traffic until high winds subside, which should last through tonight. Traffic is encouraged to use Idaho 46, between Wendell and Buhl, and Idaho 27 in Burley as alternate routes.

Motorists are encouraged to check the 511 traveler information system on their computers or dial 5-1-1on their phones for the latest information on these and any other closures.
