PAYETTE, Idaho (KLIX)-According to a press release on May 14, 2016, at approximately 4:15 p.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a two-vehicle fatality crash northbound U.S. Highway 95 at milepost 72, north of Payette.

Donald Manning Jr., age 47, of Payette, was traveling on a 2005 Harley Davidson motorcycle southbound on U.S. Highway 95.  Judy Eldridge, age 51, of Weiser, was traveling in a 1985 GMC pickup northbound on U.S. Highway 95.  Manning's vehicle crossed the center line and struck Eldridge's vehicle.  Manning succumbed to his injuries at the scene.  Eldridge was not injured.  Next of kin has been notified.

 

All lanes of U.S. Highway 95 were blocked for approximately two hours and forty-five minutes while crews worked to clear the scene.  Manning was wearing a helmet.  The crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
