IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (AP) — Authorities in southeastern Idaho say 25 pairs of Black Angus cows and calves are missing.

The Bonneville County Sheriff's Office in a statement Tuesday says Dexter Van-Orden reported the cattle have disappeared from the area they graze.

Authorities say the cattle have a Sunrise D brand as well as white ear tags containing Van-Orden's name and phone number.

Sgt. Jeff Edwards says the area where the cattle graze has been checked multiple times by horse and by air.

Authorities didn't provide an estimate on the value of the cattle.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Bonneville County Sheriff's Office.
