TWIN FALLS, Id ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) The city of Twin Falls is working with the Idaho Transportation Department to make repairs on Blue Lakes Boulevard.

The hot weather has caused certain spots of the sidewalk to buckle causing problems for pedestrians. Parts of the road have been showing large bumps creating a rough drive for motorists.

In the next few weeks the city will begin to grind down the larger bumps in the road. "In these cases, it's really managed by ITD and so it's important for us as a city to work closely with them to make sure that we can maintain it to the best quality for our citizens,” said Josh Palmer with the City of Twin Falls.

ITD is working to fix the sidewalks so they will be in compliance with the American Disability Act.
