TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) – Forget about Ninja Turtle costumes and creepy clowns, get goosebumps with Creepy Crawly Day at the Herrett Center for Arts and Science.

The event – which runs from 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29, and helps participants understand these critters’ role in the environment – is a chance to get up close and personal with snakes, lizards, spiders, scorpions and even an alligator.

Creepy Crawly Day will be held in the Rick Allen Room and is free to the public.

While at the Herrett Center, it’ll be your last chance to see Sea Monsters: A Prehistoric Adventure at the Faulkner Planetarium. The large format IMAX film has been shown at the domed theater for the past three years, but it will no longer be played after October.

Afternoons shows on the 29th are 1:30, 2:30, 3:30 and 4:40 p.m.

For more information about Creepy Crawly Day or the “Sea Monsters,” visit the Herrett Center or call 732-6655.
