TWIN FALLS, Idaho (News Release) – The Executive Board of Southern Idaho Economic Development Organization has accepted the resignation of its executive director Jeff Hough, effective Sept. 30. Hough has resigned due to personal reasons.

SIEDO will be naming an interim executive director shortly to support the region’s ongoing momentum in business attraction, expansion and talent attraction.

“We’ve just come off a very successful annual summit addressing talent attraction and several very promising new projects are being considered for the region,” said Dan Olmstead, SIEDO board chairman. “We will be naming an interim director soon to assure that our economic development level of activity does not slow down,” Olmstead said.

SIEDO will be working with its member cities, counties and utilities to develop a strategy for hiring a full time executive director. Postings for this position should be available by early October.
