How a Man and a Stagecoach Created Twin Falls

Two basic things are needed for the growth of any community.

A supply of water and reliable transportation for commerce.  Twin Falls was a late arrival when it comes to Idaho cities and towns.  A large canyon and deserts surrounded the area and limited growth.  Getting across the canyon, as you can imagine, was no small challenge.  Historian and author Ron Yates joined us today on Top Story.  If you listen below to our conversation, you’ll learn how one man, frustrated when it came to travel, made a decision and it then made possible Twin Falls.
