300 airmen from Mountain Home Air Force Base left Idaho Monday evening for a deployment to Southwest Asia in support of F-15 operations.  Mountain Home Air Force Base says the 391st Fighter Squadron "Bold Tigers" will be involved in close air support and combat.

For some of the airman, it Is their first deployment and some are veterans,who are heading across the world for a second or third time. Lt. Col. David Brynsteston, the commander of the 391st Fighter Squadron says his group has been training for months for this mission and they are ready get out there and support the troops on the ground.  After the airmen finished up the last minute details for their long fight, they boarded the plane and took off just before 11:30 p.m.
