Did you know Idahoans are among the most generous people on the planet?

A nugget in the story says it all about how kind people are in the Gem State.

This is because Americans are incredibly generous despite the impression many of our smug neighbors hold most dear.  This morning, I was doing my show preparation when I came across a story from Eastern Idaho.  A nugget in the story says it all about how kind people are in the Gem State.  I’m not sure what the perceptions of Idaho are around the country.  I guess potatoes and blue football fields come to mind if there’s any impression whatsoever.  Or the Redoubt and various libertarian dreams of Utopia.

I think the giving nature, from what I’ve witnessed, is clearly the most identifiable trait.  I also suspect the strong religious faith across the state is a stabilizing influence.
