BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Wildlife officers say a black bear that raided trash cans and killed two goats at a planned community along Idaho Highway 55 north of Boise has been killed.

The Idaho Department of Fish and Game tells KBOI-TV  the bear was killed April 20 after acting aggressive toward people at the Avimor development. Officials say it's the same bear that showed up last year in the area and someone gave it food.

The bear was later live-trapped after attempting to get into a residence where the homeowner was cooking bacon. Officials moved the bear to the Garden Valley backcountry in the fall where it likely hibernated. But officials say the bear returned in the spring to the area where it remembered receiving easy food.
