Idaho Fish & Game Update

Ice fishing is back.  The cold snap is allowing for some lakes and ponds to freeze to the point where it’s safe to cut a hole and spend a day relaxing.

Idaho Fish and Game spokesman Kelton Hatch joined us for his monthly visit and gave updates on elk counts, black bear hunting and waterfowl hunting.  He also took some questions from the audience.  At least one involved concerns about trapping and the harm it could cause to domestic dogs.

We should also point out hunting and fishing licenses make great gift ideas.  You can pick them up at the regional office in Jerome or online.
