BOISE, Idaho (AP) — A southwest Idaho golf course owner says an Idaho Power electrical box being installed near the first tee is a hazard for his business. Indian Lakes Golf Course owner Bashar Sabbagh says the above ground, green box going in this week looks like a coffin. Stephanie McCurdy of Idaho Power says the company tried to work with Sabbagh but received mostly angry voice mails.

The company has an easement to put in the electrical box that's part of its upgrade to the power grid in the area. Golfers are mostly unperturbed by the power box that is much less troublesome than some of the other problems likely to be encountered during a round.
