Idaho Governor Looking for State Appellate Public Defender Candidates
BOISE, Idaho (PRESS RELEASE) – Governor C.L. “Butch” Otter is accepting applications until November 15th from individuals interested in the position of State Appellate Public Defender (SAPD).
The previous SAPD, Sara Thomas, recently was appointed administrative director of Idaho Courts.
The State Appellate Public Defender provides appellate and post-conviction relief legal representation to indigent defendants convicted of murder and sentenced to death. Qualified candidates must have practiced law in good standing with the Idaho State Bar for at least five years.
