NOTUS, Idaho (AP) — Authorities in southwest Idaho say they are examining new surveillance video involving the shooting death of a Notus convenience store clerk.

The Canyon County Sheriff's Office says the video is from a private home and could help solve the Dec. 17 killing of 25-year-old Christopher Reese. Police haven't released the recently obtained video. A passer-by called 911 to report suspicious activity at the store. By the time deputies arrived, Reese was dead on the floor in one of the aisles.

Security cameras in the Jackson's store show two suspects wearing dark balaclava-style face masks and gloves. One carried a pistol and the other had a rifle. Canyon County Sheriff's Lt. Chris McCormick says 20 investigators went door-to-door throughout the Notus area and generated a number of new leads.
