MOSCOW, Idaho (AP) — A northern Idaho man who authorities say was filmed harvesting marijuana on federal land by cameras set up near a U.S. Forest Service road has been charged with felony manufacturing of a controlled substance.

The Moscow-Pullman Daily News reports in a story published Wednesday that cameras recorded 55-year-old Lloyd R. Byers Jr. harvesting marijuana in September.

Authorities say Byers was contacted at his home and turned over nearly 15 pounds of marijuana in various stages of processing. His first court appearance is set for May 1 in 2nd District Court.
